On 9-25-12 I went to a kmart in Abington, Va to exchange a pair of pants. There was 2 people in front of me one of these got tired of waiting and went to the jewelery counter. The person in front of me was there around 30 min. When i finally got my turn just to exchange a pair of pants they said that the computer was acting up and would not take the bill. After about 30 min. more they call another woman from the back. All she did was exchange the pants, initial the bill and give the bag to me. By this time i was so tired and peeved that i just walked out of the store and did not even look at any thing. Why is kmart always so slow and people waiting in line all the time. Help

I was lost and directed by one of the sales associates to the proper isle for the items I was looking for. Once I arrived at the cashier, the shopping experience took a turn for the worst. Andrew B. on lane #3 at 6:51 was standing at another associates register as I approached. He never greeted me but commenced to ring up my sale. He did ask if I had a K mart rewards card. I said yes but he asked for my telephone number but I just gave him the card. Before I could see the questions asked on the kiosk located at the register, Andrew proceeded to blindly press the keypad preventing me from providing my own responses to the survey. When I asked that he bring the screen back to the survey, he became instantly annoyed. He asked for one of the managers to void the sale. When I said to Andrew that I wanted to read and answer the survey myself, he became argumentative, stating that it only asked for email verification. I inquired about the cost of pumpkins on display at the front of the store, and the cashier stated that he had no idea of their cost and made no attempt to find out. As the screen was returned to survey mode, I noticed that the response asked about referring others to this particular K Mart. Andrew visibly became more annoyed and stated again that he had told me it was asking for an email response. At that point, I ended what I thought was a teachable moment to avoid other conversations with the young man. I used two gift cards that I received from work as an incentive. The company sends a number of companies to chose where the gift cards could be redeemed. I chose K Mart because of the affordable and quality products the store primarily carries. I have a number of other cards to use from Kmart, and do not plan use them at the BERLIN KMART.

I was very impressed with how friendly Ashley was. She folded my clothes so they would not be wrinkled before I got home. She was very pleasant and I enjoyed being at kmarts because of her attitude. I wish they were all like that. Most of the kmart people are nice but not as friendly as Ashley, anytime I come in the store she will greet me and anyone I am with. I can feel at ease to ask her anything and she is great to acknowledge to my question and answers it. I want to thank you for having such a pleasant cashier, greeter, and service desk associate.

I did find your location. I was looking for two items. One on sale and the other I wanted to buy. there were directionally sign in the store but they were very vague. I had to search the idles to find my first itme (Tide detergent)and ask an associate for directs to the other item a 13 gallon trash container. When I went to checkout, thre were 6-7 resitors ans all had lines, but I saw a new one open and was service immediately. The cashier was very good, she ask if I hd a K-mart card. I did not hve one, but at a recent visit to Sears I received a $5 discount card and used it. The checkout only took about 3-5 minutes. October 28, 2012

On Oct. 3l, 2012, I was looking for a special sales item that was in the Sunday Newspaper in Greenville, SC. A salesperson said that I could get a rain check on the 32 pc. food storage set since none were on the shelves….so, I went to Shelley Armstrong at CSR desk and she was so wonderful, called for a sales person to check the back….happily they came back with two: one for me and one for my sister…..Shelley had a wonderful personality, went out of her way to please my sister and me and she should be appreciated for this. Just made our day. Thank you Kmart for this. Rosemary Sutherland, Laurens, SC. God Bless.
