food was great service was fast and professional
my husband and I stayed at Comfort Inn and Dennys was attached to the inn at 1601 martinsburg pike winchester va. so we went to Dennys and spend around $15.00 on 10/11/2012 around7/8oclock..the waitress was very nice and attentive and helpful, but when we went to the cashier to pay our bill I seen the sign that read AARP 20% discount from 4-10pm and said Oh you take AARP and she said yes but you have to tell us we are not allowed to ask you if you are a member, she took the receipt and never offered to give us a discount, just said thank you for eating at Dennys and the next time you come in to remember to tell them you are a AARP member…now dont you think as a courtesy she could of discounted the bill…………? also want to say the meal was very tasty my husband had Sr menu country fried steak and I had the chicken parm.

I’m writing this letter sadly because I took my almost 92 friend to Denny’s for Veteren’s Day.
He was denied a free breakfast even though he showed his military card.
Please change your advertising for free pancakes for Veteren’s Day.
By the way Wayne was a top turret gunner on a B-24, flew 50 missions, receicved 4 medals including a Purple Heart and a Distinguished Flying Cross.
He chose Denny’s over Applebees and the Olive Garden just to name a few because Denny’s is his favorite restaurant.
